Frequently asked questions

Does the iconography stay accurate to shastra proportions?

Yes. Facetra's deity library is trained on classical iconometric ratios (tala measurement — nava-tala for standing deities, sapta-tala for seated). The generated murti preserves stance (tribhanga, samabhanga, atibhanga), mudra hand-gestures, ayudha attributes, vahana mounts and asana seats correctly per the described deity. Regional variants (Kanchipuram Lakshmi vs. Bengali Lakshmi vs. Newari Lakshmi) are separate presets.

Can I use the mesh for lost-wax brass and panchaloha casting?

Yes — that is the primary output. The 3D mesh is wall-thickness-safe per material (brass ≥2.5mm, panchaloha ≥2mm, silver ≥1.5mm) and comes as a watertight STL suitable for direct lost-wax investment casting. Test castings from Facetra meshes have been successfully cast in Moradabad brass foundries and Kumbakonam panchaloha ateliers.

Can the same murti be re-scaled for pendant jewellery?
