The 6-step AI jewellery photo edit
Every raw jewellery photograph — whether shot on a DSLR in a light tent or a phone under a desk lamp — goes through the same six stages before it is catalogue-ready. Doing them in sequence, not in parallel, is what separates a professional retouch from an over-cooked HDR mess.
1. Background — remove or replace first
Start with the biggest visual variable. The background of a raw shot leaks colour onto the piece (a red velvet cloth adds a warm cast to a gold ring) and forces every subsequent edit to compensate.
