No. Facetra is a workflow layer that produces the reference material (renders, multi-view sheets, BOM, 3D mesh) a CAD operator uses. Your CAD bench continues to use Rhino, MatrixGold or JewelCAD to retopologize the mesh into a cast-ready model.

What is Jadau?

Jadau is an ancient Mughal-era Indian jewellery technique where pure gold is heated until malleable, then hand-hammered around uncut gemstones (typically Polki, uncut emerald and pearl) to secure them without prongs, glue or modern setting hardware. Every Jadau piece is a full-craft build — heated base of pure gold, one-by-one stone embedding, and decorative meenakari, jaali or nakashi around the setting. Jadau is the umbrella technique; Kundan is the specific stone-setting method most often used within it; Polki is the stone variety most often set.

Frequently asked questions

How is Jadau different from Kundan and Polki?

Jadau is the technique (soft-gold + hand-embedded stones), Kundan is the setting method (24kt gold foil pressed around the stone), and Polki is the stone variety (uncut natural diamond). A single bridal piece can be Jadau-crafted, Kundan-set and Polki-studded simultaneously.

Can Facetra render the reverse Meenakari work on a Jadau piece?

Yes. Describe the meena tone and motif and Facetra produces a multi-view sheet with both the Kundan-set front and the Meenakari reverse in one deliverable.

Is Facetra accurate enough for a karigar to work from the render?

The render is the client-facing approval asset; the karigar works from the multi-view sheet, the bare-metal CAD-ready view and the BOM (all included in the CAD kit zip). Facetra explicitly produces those manufacturable references — not just pretty pictures.
