Facetra Platform Overview

AI Jewellery Design — Sketch to Photoreal, Same Day

One platform for the entire jewellery design workflow — sketch to render, render to multi-view, multi-view to CAD-ready, CAD-ready to 3D mesh. Built for Kundan, Jadau, Polki, Diamond and Temple work. Priced per credit, from ₹12 per render.

Every serious jewellery designer — from a Zaveri Bazaar atelier owner to a fresh NIFT graduate — hits the same bottleneck: the design vision is in your head or on paper, but the client needs a photoreal render before they approve manufacture. Traditional path: 4-7 days, ₹2,000-5,000 outsourced per iteration, and every client tweak restarts the clock.

Facetra collapses that to same-day, ₹12 per render, unlimited iterations. It's the first AI jewellery design software built from the ground up for Indian bridal vocabulary (Kundan-set foil-backed Polki, Jadau nakashi, meenakari reverse, temple deity iconography) as well as modern Western settings (solitaire, halo, tension, pave, cathedral). Used by ateliers across Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Hyderabad, and by design students at NIFT, IIAD, GIA, JD Institute and Pearl Academy.

What is AI jewellery design?

AI jewellery design refers to the use of generative AI models — trained on jewellery-specific vocabulary and imagery — to convert design references (sketches, photos, CAD screenshots, or text prompts) into photoreal client-ready renders, silhouette-locked multi-view sheets, live bills of material, and production-ready 3D CAD meshes. Unlike generic image generation tools (Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion), an AI jewellery design platform must understand jewellery-native craft vocabulary — the difference between a chaton and a bezel, between a foil-backed Polki and a brilliant-cut diamond, between granulation and pave — and must output geometry that a real CAD bench can retopologise for casting. Facetra is the category-defining tool for Indian and modern jewellery, covering every stage from sketch to STL.

What Facetra delivers to a jewellery designer

  • Studio module — sketch or reference photo → photoreal render in 40-60 seconds (1 credit ≈ ₹12)
  • Multi-View Sheet — silhouette-locked 0° / 45° / 90° / 180° views for the CAD bench (4 credits ≈ ₹48)
  • Bare-metal CAD-Ready view — strip stones, foil and enamel to see the casting geometry (1 credit)
  • Live BOM — 22kt / 18kt gold, platinum, silver, stones, meena, karigar hours at today's Zaveri Bazaar rate
  • 3D Mesh export — GLB / STL / OBJ / FBX / USDZ / 3MF for Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD (15 / 25 credits)
  • PhotoRoom TouchUp — catalogue-quality 4K / 8K retouch of a real product shot (2 credits)
  • Catalog compositing — model photoshoot, creative photoshoot, custom sizing for Instagram / e-commerce / PDF
  • Render from CAD — upload a Rhino / MatrixGold screenshot, get a client-ready photoreal render in 40 seconds
  • Style fluency — Kundan, Jadau, Polki, Diamond, Temple, Meenakari, Rajwadi, Antique, Bridal, Lightweight, Modern Fusion

The Facetra workflow (six steps, one afternoon)

  1. Sign up for a free account — 10 free credits, no card required.
  2. Open Studio → upload a paper sketch, DSLR reference photo or a competitor render for inspiration.
  3. Describe the piece — style, metal karat, stones, motif, weight of ornamentation (heavy bridal / mid / lightweight).
  4. Facetra renders in 40-60 seconds. Lasso-refine any region — change a stone, deepen a meena, resize the centrepiece.
  5. Chain the render into Multi-View + CAD-Ready + BOM + 3D Mesh — the full CAD kit at ~22 credits (~₹264) Standard or ~32 credits (~₹384) HD.
  6. Hand the kit to your CAD operator or karigar. Sold on to the client via WhatsApp, Instagram or a PDF catalogue.

How much does it cost?

Credit-based pricing. Studio render 1 credit per variant, multi-view sheet 4 credits, CAD-ready view 1 credit, 3D mesh 15 credits (Standard) or 25 credits (HD). Credit packs start at ₹1,500 (Starter, 100 credits, ₹15/cr) and go down to ₹12/credit on the Atelier pack (1,300 credits at ₹15,600). New signups get 10 free credits.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Facetra different from Midjourney or Stable Diffusion for jewellery?

Generic image models produce pretty pictures but don't understand jewellery craft vocabulary — a chaton is not the same as a bezel, a Kundan-set foil-back is not the same as a modern pave halo, granulation is not a decorative overlay. Facetra's prompt engineering, model choice and downstream tools (multi-view, CAD-ready, BOM, 3D mesh) are all tuned to produce manufacturable references, not just wallpaper.

Does Facetra cover both Indian and modern Western jewellery?

Yes. The style library covers Kundan, Jadau, Polki, Meenakari, Temple, Rajwadi and Antique on the Indian side, plus solitaire, halo, three-stone, tennis, cluster, cocktail, pave, channel, tension and cathedral on the modern side. Indo-Western cross-over designs (Kundan-set Polki centre with modern brilliant-cut halo) are a signature use case.

How much does a full CAD kit for one piece cost?

About 22 credits ≈ ₹264 on the Atelier pack (₹15,600 for 1,300 credits at ₹12/credit) — that's render (1cr) + multi-view sheet (4cr) + CAD-ready bare-metal (1cr) + BOM (1cr) + Standard 3D mesh (15cr). HD 8K tier ~32 credits ≈ ₹384. Traditional outsourced route: ₹2,000-₹8,000 for the same deliverables, 4-7 days turnaround.

Is Facetra suitable for design students?

Yes — one of the primary use cases. NIFT, IIAD, GIA, JD Institute and Pearl Academy students use Facetra to build portfolios that get them hired. New signups get 10 free credits — enough for a five-piece portfolio starter set. See our dedicated /for-students page.

Does the 3D mesh replace my CAD software (Rhino / MatrixGold / JewelCAD)?

No. Facetra sits upstream of Rhino / MatrixGold / JewelCAD. It produces the design references (renders, multi-view, BOM, 3D mesh) that your CAD operator retopologises into a manufacturable casting file. Think of it as the sketch-to-CAD-input pipeline, not a CAD replacement.

Can I use Facetra on my phone?

Yes — Facetra Studio runs in any modern mobile browser (Safari, Chrome). Real ateliers commonly render on desktop but review with clients on phone via a shared link, which works flawlessly on iOS and Android.
